The game isn't bad at it's core but it's held back by so many flaws present in the original yet not fixed in the Remake. It needs to add more bonfires and better bosses.

Half of what's bad about this game is simply tendency and body form. The fact the game punishes you for dying in body form is stupid, the entire tendency mechanic had potential but it was executed horribly.

Being in soul form shouldn't half your health, there is no need for that.
