Playing this after playing FC5 is a really good feeling. This FC is probably my favorite in terms of gameplay and combat. Playing this in Guerilla mode even on my first play through was a good decision as I feel like every single FC game I've played so far are either super simple on how you can go about it or just being really easy to steamroll everything. Guerilla mode makes enemies tougher and more aware while also limiting your ammo.

Although I did really like the gameplay for this one I have the same complaint that I did with FC5 in that the story is just not as engaging. Maybe this has to do with there being branches you can choose to complete before the others and is not as linear as the other FC games, but just like how FC5 had 3 branches to choose from in the form of the Seed family. Sure this time the MC actually talks which is leagues better than the silent MC in FC5, but the villain in this FC I feel like is on the weaker side of writing. Before starting this game I had the idea in my head that Diego would play a huge roll in the story, and yeah sure a lot of things happen because Castillo tried to set up his sons life so that he can become El Presidente as he grows older. Seeing as he was basically the poster child for the game I guess I just had too high of expectations for him.

Although I do have a complaint with the story and the villain writing I do think that the gameplay and all the entertaining characters make this a good FC game. Even seeing Anton Castillo deteriorate as the story goes on is entertaining in it's own way.
