Ok, this is easily one of the best GameCube games I have ever played and is one of the best Mario Party games. Of course, it has its ups and downs, as almost all games do. The downs is mainly just one of the boards. Don’t get me wrong, this game has some of the best boards in the whole series. But the board that is not the best was E. Gadd’s garage. E. Gadd’s garage just didn’t have that much color and environment. The gimmicks also weren’t the best either. But now we get to the ups, which are the graphics, mini games, characters, boards, and gimmicks. The graphics are good (as usual because it’s on the GameCube) and look much better then 7 and 4’s graphics do. The mini games are some of the best in the whole series, maybe even the best in the series. One of the best ones is the one where you have to jump on the clouds and paratroopas, that one was really good and is one of my favorite mini games of all time. The boards, like Fair Square are really good, and Snowflake Lake, from what I’ve heard and seen, looks really really fun. The character selection are always good, as usual. The gimmicks, like in Snowflake Lake, you chase people with Chain Chomps to steal stars, in Fair Square, the star price changes, and in Clockway Castle, at night, bowser chases you and if he catches you, he steals a star and in the day time, you have to chase Donkey Kong and if you catch him, you get a star. Overall, this game is a great, well done Mario Party game and GameCube game in general, and if you haven’t played, I highly recommend it.
