Granted the game is almost impossibly hard (artificially so to ensure it had good "rentability" for US market) conceptually the game has a lot going on. There are three distinct and well done gameplay types. The beat'em ups, the shooting and the driving. The controls are tight and response and it has good music throughout.

Consider playing the J version "Mad City" for a much smoother experience.
