I am beginning to think this Toby Fox guy creates good video games! I installed Chapter 2 immediately after finishing Chapter 1, and I was not disappointed. Everything I liked about the first chapter returned and new additions that were very welcome.

Susie, Kris, and Ralsie are obviously a treat to listen to, but the newcomers of Queen, Noelle, and Berdly were amazing as well. I think Queen here is a better antagonist than that dad in the first chapter. I wish there were more returning dark world character though. Lancer was only here for a few seconds and that puzzle guy sucks ass. I also think that the cyber world is a worse setting than the dark world of the first game. I have seen so many internet interpretations in movies that it just isn't really fun anymore. The ost slaps like always. The "Big Shot" song is going into my playlist definitely. The second Spamtron fight was the best boss fight so far. It really reminded me of a Cuphead boss, that giant robot guy that took me forever to beat. The battle system is still the same as last time, but now they added a recruiting feature which I did not pay any attention to. There was also a storage feature which was a whatever addition as well. I don't think this chapter was long enough to justify an entire storage feature for items.
If I had to choose between this and the first chapter, I'd probably go with the first chapter, but these both are 5/5s. First chapter is just shorter and Lancer rocks.
