The presentation in this game is very remarkable, but unfortunately, that is just about the only aspect of this game of which I can say that. The story is somewhat enjoyable if it wasn't so fractured and also a bit unoriginal. Most importantly, though, this game has truly truly awful combat that really hindered my enjoyment of the rest of the game. You can basically defeat every enemy with the same two moves, although you have quite the big move set that is never utilized. Parrying doesn't feel rewarding at all and is also somewhat clunky to use because there is no attack cancelling. I can forgive these things in a short game if the combat was more so used as short set pieces, but the game throws you into combat sequence after combat sequence with a few boring puzzles in between. This was unfortunately a big letdown for me.
