My Friend Pedro is a high octane 2D-ish shooter that emphasies creative freedom and the ability to weave attacks and dodges in some fast paced and genuinely exciting gameplay. There isn't much to write about with MFP, as it is a level to level shoot 'em up platformer, but I do feel like it overstayed its welcome in the last area that put more stock into the less than stellar platforming controls and less so the dodgeing and combo weaving that made the first few chapters fun. It's a pretty good time overall though, and it runs very well, so if you're looking for a few hours to kill this may be your game. The booming electronic music makes the experience seamless, matching the intensity of the action perfectly.
