The start of a great series. It has some wonderful ideas and the mix of artstyles is a great choice fitting the game. Still it's very limited but it made the base for all the great games that came after.

++ Gameplay;
Simple but addictive gameplay. You only use the d-pad and A button, but that's plenty for this game. A good amount of different minigames of which most (if not all) are fun to play. Short and simple in a good way.

+ Music;
I really enjoy the sound effects in this game to the point you start repeating them yourself. Addicting music as well.

+ Graphics;
The variation between pixel art and compressed photos is a fun mix. Love they went all out in later titles.

+ Story/Characters;
The story isn't really something to talk about, but the great amount of unique characters is flippin' great. Once again a good base for which the future games went all out on.

Recommend?
It's just been added on NSO, so if you have that it's an easy recommend. If you don't have it, I'd rather recommend one of the later games. Purely because of the length of this game.
