Kairosoft games should be a controlled substance. I had to go cold turkey, they were too addictive for me. This one was my first, and it will always have a soft spot in my heart.

Played this games to the 20 years mark. It was very addicting. My best seller sold 31,592,840 units. My capital was $731,047,000. This game left me wanting more wishing it was deeper with better mechanics under the hood.

A good game that had so much potential to be great if it had more money/resources. Not time, no, just general resources. It tries a LOT and doesn't fail at much, but drags a little much after the beginning prologue for my liking. I love doing the detective work, but I wish said work went beyond just figuring out the exact crime scene. A cool game with cool ideas that occasionally falls short, but is still absolutely worth the purchase.

One of the best fighting games I've ever played. The GGPO netcode allows for smooth gameplay from the East Coast to Europe (and apparently America to Korea), great balancing, awesome and tight-knit community, and somehow managed to perfectly strike the balance between easy to learn, hard to master game mechanics with the time cancel stuff. Combos are super free form with the DTC and JTC mechanics, and the juggle point system incentivizes the player to try new things in their combos. The only real gripe I have with the game at this point is that there aren't too many characters out as of May 2021, although there are more to come.
