Easily the cleanest combat in Yakuza yet: Kiryu feels stronger than the last game from the first second you play as him, which is kind of a hard feat to accomplish. The visuals are beautiful, the side quests and mini-games are fun, and the story is really engaging, tenfold so from the previous Kiwami. Ryuji is basically a perfect villain for Kiryu, which makes me sad he’s gone so soon, but he really shines for his little screen time. I don’t think the story is quite as good as Yakuza 0, but the combat and side-quests make this worth a play.
