Man, it's 1997 and they are still making Bomberman for the Arcade? As if there weren't already-um... 13 Bomberman games on home consoles by 1997, at least this one is ok compared to the previous arcade games.

Alright, I'll point out the elephant in the room, it's a damn Arcade Bomberman game and it's easier than the home console games... I'm shocked...
Compared to Bomberman Arcade and Bomberman World Arcade this game is a breeze to complete! It only has 5 worlds with 7 stages each and... and... the easiest boss fights in the whole franchise?! I was not expecting that out of this game but my god it is quite a pleasant surprise, the bosses being piss easy really made me happy though it's still just a short and average Bomberman game that will eat all of your quarters just to play some multiplayer matches, so that's why I'm wondering why are they still making a Bomberman game that is very similar to its home console counterpart with no real gimmick to call it's own, it's a pretty odd release if you ask me.

If there's any Arcade Bomberman game you should play it would be that one but even then I'd still recommend something like Super Bomberman 4 or Saturn Bomberman if you just want to play Bomberman, like just buy a damn Super Nintendo because I know you won't buy a Sega Saturn it's 1997 nobody else did.

This game does have Slime Bomberman though which is definitely something that Saturn Bomberman can't say they have.
