Played the Sonic Origins version
Sonic the Hedgehog: Spinball is Sonic Spinoff revolving around the gimmick of Sonic being in a Pinball game, this is the Game Gear version.
As the innocent soul that I am at the time of this review, I have not played the original version of Sonic Spinball, and with the Game Gear version as my first experience, I'm not sure if I ever want to try it.
This version of the game is awful, the game runs at a miserable framerate with slow and unintuitive controls, it's just straight-up not fun to play due to how the port is. I actually really like the idea of playing a pinball game where you can play as the ball and moving it around so that it's not all just about luck, though I can't say much about this game since I only finished the first stage and playing more is just... not fun.
