Finally finished this. Its a great game, and one of the few open world games that has a reason to be open world (tho it is still too fuckin long). I have a lot of thoughts but my main take away is that it's way better than BOTW, the new abilities are more useful and worthwhile, and it has significantly more variety in literally every aspect. BUT its also still a bit too simple, the story is once again kinda bussass, and (like pretty much every open world game) it could have been trimmed down a bit. My enthusiasm to keep playing definitely waned in the final 15 hours, but I mostly had a blast with the 90 or so hours I put in before that part. If my name was 2016 IGN, I would give it a solid 8.7/10. But since this is a 5 star system, I'll give it a boost and go for the 4.5 stars. Great game, great improvement upon BOTW, and shows a lot of shitshows how to make a sandbox environment. Tho I do wish Zelda doesnt become a purely open world series going forward, because I dont think a good story will ever be possible with this current structure/format lol.

Oh and Nintendo help out your fucking devs and make a console that doesnt suck shit. Gorgeous game that deserves to not run on mobile phone tier hardware.
