Beat the game. Took the ending where you break the loop.

Did a few of the arsenal leads for orange weapons so I got the sniper rifle, the SMG that you can fire while reloading and the weird dual pistol/SMG hybrid thing.

Also got all the upgrades for Aether and working on Shift now. Poor Charlie.

It's difficult to quantify progress in such an open-ended game, but I'm definitely making progress. I now have the teleport and invisibility powers (and upgraded) and making progress on my leads. Exploring the areas is also just really fun especially when you stumble upon something new.

I try not to get games based on hype alone because I've been burned a few times on that, but seeing the buzz for DEATHLOOP and watching some footage persuaded me to give it a go. And... so far so good? The only other Arkane game I've played thus far is the first Dishonored but it was good and this seems good too, although I'm still quite early (I've gotten Residuum and infused the Nexus slab).

The gunplay feels kinda weak though, maybe that'll change with better guns. I got a purple gun that shoots explosive gas bullets or something.
