Left4dead2 doesn’t pre date my existence on this earth but it's pretty dang close. I would have been 3 when it came out so I definitely wasn’t one of the people who played it on launch. I actually played it for the first time back in 2019. It was the first online multiplayer game I ever played. Which given my age, generation and you’d think it’d be call of duty or something but no, it was l4d2. See I always had a fascination with zombies in films and games. I loved watching videos covering various zombie games and shows, that's how I came across l4d2, I saw a video by wow such gaming looking at the infected and not so long later i had it install on a crappy old laptop I got from my sister that could barely run it and its was amazing. It is one of the best zombie games aren't there, especially with the replayiblity it has because of the AI director. It also solitified the co-op shooter as a legitimate genre, with out l4d2 I don't think we'd games like payday and vermintide.
