Accomplishes everything a sequel should. Melee greatly improved. Beautiful world even more fun to explore.
It is easy to feel a bit overwhelmed with all the usual open-world quests and question marks to get through, but this game does a decent job of keeping it fresh enough to not feel like a drag.
A big jump in side quests was made. All fully animated and acted out, unlike Zero Dawn when you were just face to face with no other substantial movement in the scene. Side quests felt more worthwhile.
Only issue I had was how much of a grind it can feel upgrading your weapons and outfits. I put a good amount of hours into this game and my epic/legendary gear is still at level 1. You really have to go out of your way to get the materials needed to level up the best gear.
The game's opening was a bit long and held your hand a bit too much. I'm ready for an open-world game that has a good middle ground between this and Elden Ring's open world.
