Truth be told, I wish I would have persisted a little further, but the game's point and click/puzzle mechanics start you out panicking for air and struggling to find the solution, even if everything is in front of you and in your inventory.
However, the oxygen depletion sequence... I took too long and... RIP Michel, the main protagonist. As a true gamer though, I was able to respawn from the last checkpoint and solve the puzzle. I wish they would have made it obvious, since the game is 15 years old, I doubt it.
I will say though, it looks damn nice for a 2005 game.
