The game is beautiful, runs great on PS5, and does well to make it seem like a cozy small-town mystery. However, the pacing is pretty terrible (everything important essentially happens in the last chapter), Alex’s powers are extremely inconsistent, and your choices matter even less than previous titles. The major plot points weren’t as heavy as previous titles either. It felt like playing through those coming of age Netflix original films, where it tiptoes on serious themes but never fully commits to anything - the moment the game starts to feel heavy, it immediately goes back to being light-hearted, which is a shame
