It’s a pretty predictable format, you make dishes for customers as you run against the clock.

The gameplay is entirely stylus-based at least from as far in as I’ve played. The simple story beats are told in manga format on the top screen between levels. In the first level you’re going through the stages of making sushi, including a little memory game of which ingredient to place on top. Soon enough you’re making complex pasta dishes and cooking multiple dishes at once while also cleaning plates off the tables, greeting customers as they walk in, chasing rats away, and so on. The difficulty ramps up pretty quickly but there is an easy mode also.

It’s not bad but not really remarkable, I found it fun.
