the atmosphere, soundtrack and first case are so good which just makes it even more of a shame that they completely forgot how to write a good mystery or a female character (it's legitimately impressive how few personality traits that, say, Tenko or Miu or Angie or Tsumugi have) for the entire rest of the game. the ending's point isn't bad in itself but my fucking god the danganronpa team cannot write anything (including that ending) for their lives. just feels like such wasted potential

(literally the only character of colour being written in a very much racist way is bad too i think)
