I started the game thinking "If someone told me they think this is a horror game after looking at the faces of the siblings, I wouldn't fault them". Turns out it is a horror game and a pretty decent one at that.
The game is kind of the opposite of planet of Lana. The controls seem to be non-tuned but they do not cause much obstacle and the artstyle is kind of sickly but it ends up being a strong suit when it needs to. The game gets better as it goes and even though a lot of the gameplay is not particularly interesting, the setting of the gameplay can end up overexceeding, with honestly one of my favourite bosses of the year being a part of this goofy looking game. Step aside Alan Wake or Resi 4, we have some real horrific moments in boss fights.

That said I don't want to oversell the game. If I had played this for an hour, I may have pushed it off but I'm certainly glad I added this to my 2023 cleanup and if you can pick it up for cheap it is some fun content
