Definite B-Game, but a really fun one. Gameplay is interesting but combat tends to be a bit janky and lacking feedback. The camera is a bit too close, the range on weapons at times deceptively short (or large for some enemies), hitstun/stagger is hard to gauge, sound effects are hilarously bad. But the blood code system is great and flexible, when fights click they can get intense and flashy and general exploration while straight forward is always rewarding. The story and character writing was a nice positive surprise, visuals and soundtrack were decent as well. And the game has a decent length too.
