There’s certain games in your life that you will always love despite all flaws. Your personal experience has major influence on your opinion. Resident Evil 5 is that game for me. When I first purchased a Resident Evil game, it was this one, along side Resident Evil 1 and 2 for gamecube. I started with 1 immediately but I also wanted to play 5 due to my friend having it as well and I learned of the coop. And so I went through Resident Evil 5. Then I went through it again, then again and again. Every difficulty. Every trophy I could get. I’ve done it all. I knew every enemy encounter, every emblem location. I was in love with the idea of unlocking infinite ammo from beating the game. It was so much fun for me. I met many people during online play. Great memories and experiences. The sound effects, the voice dialogue. It all just hits me in a special spot. It’s by no means a perfect game. There are some annoying level designs. But I have gone through this game many times so I’m sure most of my tedious issues are a cause of that. But yeah it’s Resident Evil 5. Global Saturation. Natural Selection. All that jazz.
