In an effort to up my writing game to be able not only buy essays but also to write my own, I've been considering making my study space better. As a player, I wish I could channel some of that enthusiasm into my workspace without being sidetracked.
I'm thinking of setting up two monitors—one for writing and one for research. Perhaps I'll add some ambient lighting—such as those awesome LED strips—to set distinct moods for certain subjects. Those extended writing sessions call for a comfortable gaming chair.
I'm looking at some stylish book and note organizers because I want to keep it clutter-free. Perhaps an idea-generating little whiteboard? And when I have to concentrate, a decent set of noise-canceling headphones to keep out distractions.
I plan to add some motivation to the walls, perhaps some framed passages from my favorite writers or video games. And for a little natural touch and improved air quality, a plant or two.
