this game is flawed in a lot of ways that its neighbours in the souls series aren't, but whenever i replay it i don't feel like dwelling on any of those flaws because imo it's the most conceptually fascinating and narratively enthralling of all the souls games. there is never gonna be another character quite like Aldia
