Veeery gorgeous, but dear god i had no idea what i was doing or why i was doing it the whole time. the controls were also eh and i wish there was an autoswim toggle. i might have enjoyed it more if i were in the same mindset and as young as when i played Journey for the first time butttttt (:

this held my interest and made me emotional the same amount that A Short Hike did, which is one of my favorite short games. i honestly this would teach kids a great lesson on "not everyone has fun the same way you do" while doing Jill's questline. i did have to look up how to get allll the achievements because there was no way i was gonna stumble into them all but that's totally fine. definitely rec this game! it's on gamepass as of writing this so give it a go!!

delightful little exploration puzzle with a lot of heart! only thing majorly knocking that star off is the glitches where i have to fully close and open the game to be able to trigger some events/achievements

Honestly I feel largely the same about this as I did the original. Gameplay is as delightful as the original! However, just like in the original the ending left me completely unsatisfied. I also felt like the Major Character Death was completely unnecessary and I'm still upset about it. Also Tilda's entire character and "arc" were dumb as hell. Like i'm still going to play the next one but dear god I hope they learn how to end a story.

Played this all in one sitting over the course of like 5 hours. It gave me the same feeling as when I played A Short Hike, which is one of my absolute favorite short games. The characters are charming, the music slaps, and this is possibly the first time i've enjoyed using filters in a photo game(even if just for putting a fisheye lens on everything). The only thing I would critique is keeping track of some of the quests that require multiple pictures(particularly the one in the snow area) is a little difficult because it's hard to know which subject is that particular number.
