This game gave me an existential crisis in the best way. Gameplay wise this game is... fine. completely inoffensive, but pretty forgettable. What makes this game exceptional is the story. It provides a strong hook and slowly gives you more and more info as you go on. It all culminates in the ending scene, giving you one of the greatest think pieces a game has ever made. There are games that offer moral conundrums and then there is SOMA, It's truly in a tier of its own.
