I’ve already talked about my feelings on the story arc of Penacony, so I’ll focus on what’s in this update in particular. We’ve already seen the grand finale, so this feels like an extended curtain call - talk to some characters, take some pictures, get some closure. It doesn’t hit the emotional highs of the last patch, but as an epilogue and teaser for the next story? It does its job well. I was pleasantly surprised that Sparkle’s Wile E. Coyote ACME button wasn’t a dropped plot thread after all, and while that last bit with Firefly is cheesy, you know what? It’s nice to get some good cheese after the intrigue rollercoaster Penacony’s story arc went through. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the next world will be just as satisfying as an adventure.
