Looks ugly, and the story has potential but ended up being a let down and a boring slog

despite that, i had a ton of fun with it. i have no nostalgia for older pokemon games, i couldn’t care less about the removed pokemon (i understand how people are upset, but i mean… there’s also a lot there already) and it felt great having my first proper pokémon journey.

i’ll get to the older ones at some point
