Although this is far from a bad game, I would not necessarily recommend it unless you are a die-hard Final Fantasy fan. The story is simply not as good as many other FF games, but the combat system itself is the most controversial one. I didn't enjoy it that much to be willing to spend so many hours into it in order to complete it, so I quit after 30+ hours. Not bad, but not necessarily great either.
