as much as it improved a lot of the mechanics, after the novelty wears off it's lacking, especially in the charm department. there's a whole lot more to do in comparison to new leaf, and it feels too overwhelming at times, especially since i struggle with depression and other mental problems. despite that, it's insane that nintendo just straight up lied and some features are completely missing + we're not really getting any more updates, not even qol ones.
