game's too hard and it owns. you don't need to finish this game (or even get close) to have a great time. enjoy your stay then put it down and live your life.

Bad sign when people's selling point of a game is that you see, actually, this is the rare game without microtransactions. What benevolence! Semantic debate on whether the game's multiple paid DLC packs constitute microtransactions aside, this comes off to me as tacit admission that Vampire Survivors has the dirty vibe of the sort of hyperaddictive barely-game explicitly designed to extract money from its playerbase. And while it has enough sense to steer clear of all that stuff, do you not value your time?

this game made me extremely upset.
the first few hours you find yourself attached to all of your little passengers and letting them go just felt painful. i always found myself making their favorite foods before they went. my critiques lie with the fact that this game could honestly be half the length and be perfect because after letting stanley go i honestly couldn't find myself feeling for many of the characters. a lot of the game is also pretty tedious when it comes to the material grinding but i didn't really mind it.
