I am not the biggest fan of Residenr Evil 7 and its first-person gameplay, but since RE8 received a DLC with a third-person mode I just had to give it a chance. I was a fan of RE7‘s characters and especially characters like Ethan Winters developed into some of my favorite characters ever. His story, especially regarding the things we get to know at the end of his journey, is truly heartbreaking and made me emotional several times. Whole setting reminded me of RE4r (which is my favorite game), so I have a soft spot for RE8. I also really liked Chris Redfield in RE8 and think he truly made this story more interesting than any other character could have. Im excited for the future of RE and a possible RE9.
