this is definitely the best 2d mario since mario 3 (imo). i'm more of a 3d mario person but this game still scratched that itch for a fresh mario experience i've been craving.

i really wish there were different mini bosses (NOT the koopalings) instead of bowser jr. and wario was playable. playable daisy is a huge win though.

edit: after 100%ing this game and thinking it over, i'd say it's my favorite 2d mario game.
