Most games that I've played recently seem to have some sort of deeper core to them. Rather that be free will (or lack thereof) in the mass effect trilogy, the neverending struggle of life in bloodborne, or connection in journey, all of them seem to have been some deep masterpieces, but DMC 5, its just simply one of the most fun games I have ever played.
Devil may cry 5 is simply put a good time. Rather that be through the perfect combat, the campy story, or the uniqueness of everyone. Everything just clicked to make a perfect experience. There was never a single moment I played this where I could describe myself as bored. Everything worked, everything was the perfect combination of fun and energy to make this one of the most fun experiences I've had with gaming possibly ever.
