A very good short indie platformer with a metroidvania map and progression. Solving platforming tasks with any technique without guidance feels so rewarding. From its physics and movement options, moving around and the controls just feels good too. Despite the low poly aesthetics, the rooms, landscape and music give such good surreal vibes while exploring the castle.

As for issues as an indie game, I feel a map is what this game really needs for navigation and completion. Because of its aesthetics and lack of room decoration to distinguish each room more, it is easy to get lost without a map. A fast travel would also be nice near the end of the game. Combat and the camera lock-on is kinda meh but thankfully the game does not focus on it. More difficult and harder rooms would be appreciated as some mechanics are underutilized (crouching, charged attacks and throwing the weapon) and the difficulty is mostly in navigation not in its mechanics. While the narrative creates a good atmosphere and vibe, it does not really work emotionally and serves mostly as a plot device which is fine.

Overall, I very much recommend this game.
