it's not nearly as bad as everyone keeps saying, but it has BIG problems. it really felt like i was playing a dark souls 1 fanfic.
even so, some bosses are amazing (and some others are fucking horrible), and the character creator finally let's you make a face that ressembles a human one. the lore and story are cool too (specially aldia, god i love aldia).

sadly, two days before the game was released they decided to delete everything and remade the entire game from scratch. if it wasn't for that, it could have been a masterpiece.
