The story is a pretty bad execution of a Tales game plot, but the way it's done badly (especially with the dub) turns it almost farcical in a way that I found mostly pretty interesting? At the very least, it's incredibly hilarious.

The battle system in this game is also really technical in a way that lets you go wild with a lot of cool builds, but you have to be a full mechanics sicko to enjoy it because the game will expect you to be engaging 100% with its half dozen systems from the get-go or else you'll be destroyed by every boss you fight. I'm the mechanics sicko, however, so this was entirely my flavor of RPG.

Overall, pretty fun time even if I would not say this game is Good.
