One of the greats in shlocky 2000s military sci-fi anime genre work, a type of art near and dear to my heart. The journey to get through it is absolutely way too long but you have to respect the swing-for-the-fences maximalist nature of the whole series. Nobody is going hard in quite the way Muv-Luv does. Mitsurugi Meiya is the hero of all time.
