A good DOOM game, even if the flavor's a bit different. The immersive sim elements like the keypads and audio logs add to a fun trek throughout mars and hell. The game's unique lore involving the Soul Cube and the Prealanthor are highlights for me, and the Plasma Rifle has one of the best reload sounds I've heard in any game.

I hate that they replace the Chainsaw with a discount Gravity Gun in ROE, but the addition of the Double Barrel is welcome for giving us an actually usable shotgun. This is the DOOM game with the most unique demons in the series, with creatures such as the Vagary, Hell Guardian, Bruiser, and Cherub yet to return.
