If you're reading this, you already know the deal.
Same graphical issues, same performance issues. All that still hasn't been fixed and will never be fixed, so let's get to the content. (Huh... deja vu...?).

This is a very gameplay-heavy DLC. Lot of battles, double battles, lots of "competitive" plays (nothing too crazy though), and it really keeps you on your toes if you didn't overlevel. Massive pokedex, and the locations were pretty cool. The base game could get pretty tough, but some of these battles got me close to wiping and I had to actually make a proper team and think of strategies. I've literally never had to do that in Pokémon.

This is basically a Super Safari Zone DLC, but in that regard, it fails pretty fucking hard since it requires hardcore Multiplayer farming to actually unlock the starters.

Actually, that's the big problem with this. The hardcore farming. If you love Pokémon, and you love playing only one game, and you have friends that share the sentiment, spam farming BP to unlock the rest of the game's extra content is no biggie. Unfortunately, I don't have that luxury, and so I suffered like hell. Since that may not be a problem for most people, I'll skip ahead.

The conclusion to the story is weak as shit. I expected a hell of a lot more.
HOWEVER, all the bonus stuff to do post-game is crazy fun (after unlocking). Characters were the best thing about the base game and now you get to have them interact with each other, and learn a whole lot more about each of them, their connection to each other and the region, as well as a bunch of Unova lore if you like it. I seriously loved all this.

Grindiness aside, it's a cool DLC. I had a lot of fun. I got to remake my Gen2, Gen3 and Gen4 team, and rebattle the champions with them. However, I still don't think it's worth the price tag.

...oh and why is nobody mentioning Toby Fox ripped Bad Apple for the OST? Bah, whatever. Who reads my reviews this far anyway? Have some mochi. Mochi mochi.
