I've been a fan of the author's illustration work for a very long time so I was surprised and thrilled to know that he was making this game (and even translated for English audiences). I only finished playing the first chapter of this game a couple of months ago but I have been thinking about it a lot ever since. I can tell a lot of love and hard work was put into making this incredibly thoughtful and heartbreaking story. Despite being roughly 2 hours of game play, I felt like it was incredibly dense in its writing and I took my time playing the game and taking in the deep art of the game.

There were a lot of moments where I stopped to just take it all in and sink in the melancholic poetry of the game. Especially during Wade's final projection of his mother's portrait I felt like I was holding my breath the entire time. I've replayed this game 3 times already and I feel goosebumps during the final portion of the game every time. Incredibly powerful work here and I'm very excited to see how this game progresses in the future.
