the question i was asking myself before starting the game, overhated? perfectly hated ? underhated ? and i would say its a bit overhated, i can see why people would hate the game, but i personally think its a good game, obviously there is some bs here and there
its really different than dark souls 1, someone described it as "turn based dark souls" and imo it fits, lots of bad enemy placements and bad areas in general and some unimpressive bosses, with all the negative shit out the way i enjoyed a lot of it
the dlcs were really good and especially their bosses were super cool, the weapon variety is really good, i like the older feel of the game and the designs of a lot of areas, as a whole i liked the game and think people give it too much shit
