Played this game for 3 or 4 hours when I first booted it up, but never really got hooked. "Tons of games start off slow and get better" I told myself, so I went to give it another chance a few days later. Then I saw the timer of how much I had actually played. I had not played 3 or 4 hours, but in reality, only 45 minutes. The narrative and mechanics just moved so glacially slow that it felt 5x longer than it actually was.

The 5 seconds Sam Witwer was on screen were the best 5 seconds of that 45 minutes.

Admittedly, the graphics and performances were really top notch, but not enough for me to want to see it through to completion unfortunately
