Just a comment after watching the excruciating documentary on Disney+:

1) Kojima's work is beyond any definition not because he is just an author analogous to film authors but because he is an author of video games. It is not by following exhausted paradigms and already traveled paths that validation for video games will come. It is in the recognition of the specificity of this medium that lies the future of this beautiful creation. Fortunately, Kojima seems to be more aware of this than his enthusiasts, and that's what matters.

2) The fact that Death Stranding starts from the same conceptual horizon as the fight with Psycho Mantis and, even so, the documentary could not put a frame of Metal Gear because of Square Enix is an indication of how sick the culture currently is.
