Probably one of my favorite games ever made.

Look, I get it’s a copy and paste of a 1991 game onto a 32 bit handheld, but it’s sound design (I’m so biased oh my goshhhhh) is miles better than on the SNES.

I actually never thought to try out the GBA version because I figured it wouldn’t be much different. Love the SMW soundtrack so so much but I know GBA music goes so hard lol (so nostalgic and just “😩”). I’ll have to check it out!! Thanks for the info!

Omg, no. The GBA is notorious for porting SNES games and giving them washed out colors and poor sound quality. Like, this is a fine port, all things considered (and they did add things), but sound is definitely not the highlight.

While the sound design being miles better I do not agree with, I remember the theme for Vanilla Dome slapping pretty hard even with its compression compared to the SNES version
