Kirby’s Adventure is a very technically impressive game for the NES, which is both its greatest strength, and its greatest weakness. Said weakness is that the game isn’t able to consistently handle how much is going on on the screen, and slows down as a result. It doesn’t detract too much from what is otherwise a very charming little game.

Sure, Kirby’s Adventure is simple and poses little challenge. But is it still fun? Absolutely. The copy ability gives you plenty of choices on how you want to complete these levels, and since none is more effective than another, there’s no wrong answer. If nothing else, you can’t help but admire how a product designed to be accessible and simple succeeds so thoroughly in being a good time.
