Ran and Conan are sitting in a café waiting for Heiji, who wants to visit them.
They meet Ran's classmate Miki, who has a mini-job at the café. She tells
that her sister has been missing for some time. At Miki's home, they find a clue that leads to a mysterious temple in the mountains.

Thanks to a fan translation I was able to play this title now.

I can imagine this as a good Conan episode and as such I would prefer it.

Pictures of the characters in the dialogue are very good and also otherwise the graphics are respectable. Only characters in the game world are recognizable, but do not look that great.
The music is unfortunately boring to a large extent and also gets annoying at some point.

There is a lot of trial and error, as you have to look at almost everything in a certain order or approach people in a certain order. A few clues are too well hidden, as you have no idea you're supposed to be looking for them at all.
For example, a Crossbow is lying under a porch. However, the place where it is lying does not look any different from the rest in any way, so it is not noticeable.

The other playable characters, Ran, Kogoro and Heiji, are rather unnecessary. At one point Conan does say that he might need Kogoro's or Heiji's help, but only once do you need to play as Heiji. At least he is standing nearby in this situation and there is no unnecessary running around to find him.

Ai Haibara also appears. She pretents to be sick, so Conan, Kogoro and Heiji have an excuse to stay at the temple, but she just disappears during the game without an explanation.
