Plain and simple one of the best racing games out there, at least by the time all the major updates had released. Lots of cars to choose from (if light compared to previous entries) and a decent amount of tracks recreated to a crazy high standard of depth, plus neat extras like a detailed photo mode, the GT League trove of races, plus Circuit Experience tutorials for new drivers. It's just a great place to hone your skills behind the wheel.

My only complaint is that there's no way to tailor the AI level to your driving skill. I started the game on Professional difficulty (the hardest setting) and within hours I was driving circles around the AI, making it less about actual racing and more a competition to pull the biggest gap. I could go a lap down and get back into the lead within 24 laps in identical cars.
