I think this game's biggest strength is that it is probably the fastest way to get comfortable using a guitar (without the luxury of in-person guitar lessons). Receiving direct feedback builds confidence and reminds you that you're doing it right and actually improving, but it won't take very long for you to get bored of the actual 'game' part and realize how limiting this game is as a teaching tool. I would highly recommend this if you can borrow it from a friend or get it for very cheap. Otherwise, I would jump straight to JustinGuitar and an ear training app.
